There are few Blackmars in today's world. Genealogy traces the family name back to England in the sixteen hundreds. One proponent states that anybody named Blackmon, Blackmer, Blackmore or similar spellings are relatives. I have never delved into genealogy but have read a lengthy history compiled by others. It's fun to look up the name when traveling to other cities. And in some cases, call them to see if a family tie can be found.

However, I'm doing my part to expand the name. My wife bore seven children, five boys and two girls. They have not shirked their duty; we now have sixteen grandchildren and one great-grand child. Several are grown in their twenties out chasing the world.

From time to time I will show pictures of "The Crowd." As a starter I have included my wife, Pat and myself in the front yard on the "Double Nickel."

Our children today are four "home-boy" cats that we live with. I would like to have more but the house is not large enough for each to have his own room.
